Irritating

Cowards and Ghosts start appearing. Virus windows activate.

Hostile

Hydras and Decoys join the mix. Nothing is safe.

THE COMBO SYSTEM IS REAL AND IT WILL CHANGE YOU

03 / 01 / 2026 • Mechanics

Consecutive clean window closes build a combo counter up to x5. At x5 you're earning 50% bonus RAM per close. This is excellent until Pierre sends a Ghost window and you whiff it, resetting your streak to zero. Page Faults also reset both players' combos simultaneously, which Pierre clearly finds funny.

Pierre's monologue system fires taunts in real time based on game events. Hit a five-combo? He notices. Click a virus window? He'll remind you. When TL4 kicks in, he personally announces: "SYSTEM OVERLOAD. ALL WINDOWS ARE NOW HOSTILE." He is not bluffing. He has never bluffed in his life.
